Darlene, Doc here,

Have you been back to a Nissan Dealer with the latest fix for the situation? There is possibly a bulletin for this situation in Dealer Tech Information only. When I worked at the Datsun/Nissan Dealer we got Technical Service Bulletins, and we would communicate with the Engineers about the problems that we encountered. I myself, am not aware of any situation, I assume that you are refering to the "Heads Up Display". It is possible that there is some corrosion in a connector or the lamp that facilitates the display. I hope that this helps you.

Please let me know if you are still having problems or cannot get any
satisfaction with the dealer.
