Ray, Doc here. I believe that you will find a hot lead pigtail coming from the fuse box as a spare taped to the harness if no one has disturbed the factory stuff. With the switch in a hidden location you will facilitate another backup anti-theft device for your "Z"! As I remember the lead is hot when the key is in the on position too.

Keep pressing on Bro................

Maybe I'll just run a line directly from the extra lead that all battery cables seem to have these days, through the safety switch and back to the fuel pump. The switch should only be activated when the engine is running if it's working correctly. I could also run that line thrugh a hidden switch inside the car for added security against someone trying to "borrow" my car without permision!

Good point about overloading that circuit. All of my electrical stuff except the ammeter is working quite well right now, why take the chance of messing that up.

By the way, Holley ships the pump with a rubber insulator so I'll try that for now and maybe add to it later.

 Thanks Again,
